What a fantastic opportunity! I am pleased to announce that the city of Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts has invited our project, 7,000 Evergreens to participate in the 2008-2009 Baltimore Sculpture Project show in downtown Baltimore.

We intend to plant a forest of artificial evergreen trees, dedicated to the city of Baltimore as the Baltimore Artificial Evergreen Forest, which will remain on site for the next 12 months. After that, we will most likely transplant the trees to a new location. For those readers who might be concerned about the transplanting process, we would reassure you that unlike their living counterparts, these trees can be transplanted again and again and even left out of the ground for extended periods without harm.

We are acquiring our trees from generous individuals who no longer need their artificial trees. The artificial evergreen acquisition drive is on! So if you have any unwanted trees, please contact us. The project will happily pay for shipping to our main office, or if you are in the metro New York area, we will even pick up the tree(s) at no expense to you. The more the merrier!
