Installation created for The Workshop, an event/solo exhibition that consisted of several temporary, interrelated installations and projects in a converted Dallas warehouse. The Workshop included installations from 2011 as well as projects from 2009-2011.
Sunshine Pong is a custom-made ping pong table whose surface is dotted with small islands populated by model fir trees. Visitors to The Workshop played ping pong with a heat lamp directly at the back of their head. The two heat lamps in the room served to provide warmth and to light the room.
